The humbler is used to keep the bottoms in a humble and submissive posture at all times. To place it, the subject is placed on his knees and on all fours and then both wooden parts are placed around the testicles behind the thighs. By means of the knobs it is adjusted until the genitals are trapped in the central hole. Additionally, anklets can be attached to the humbler for even greater restraint.
